Yes. Classified ads are published in both print and web editions of It's Classified.

1. Click the "Post an Ad" button on the left:
2. Choose the Category where you want your ad to appear.	Example: Click Fun Vehicles
3. Choose the Subcategory for your ad.	Example: Click Boats
4. Fill in the forms.	There are 4 steps, each has its own form. When you finish filling in the fields, click the Next Step button at the bottom of the page.

If you register you can:

• Avoid re-entering all your information every time.
  Note: We don't keep your credit card information for security reasons. You will have to re-enter credit card information.
• Edit your own ads after they've been published.
  This won't affect the current print edition, but will update the web site, once approved.

• Renew your own ads.
  Is your ad about to expire? Don't want to take a chance that it will be gone for a week or more? Online renewal is quick and easy.
• Cancel your own ads.
  Stop phone calls from web visitors as soon as your item is sold. You'll still get calls from print customers until the next print edition hits the stores.

Yes - for some ads.

IF all of these are true:

• The ad is 35 words or shorter.
• No item in the ad is over $100.
• You are not selling "Unlimited" items.
  These are NOT free: hay bales, $3; firewood, $180/cord; Grandma's Cookie recipe, $5.50; Lamps, $10 ea.
• You're not selling an obvious set as if they're individual items to avoid the fee.
  These are NOT free: 4 tires, $50 each; 6 matching dining chairs, $30 ea.

You're not "giving away" something that you would normally have to pay a service fee to have removed.
This is NOT free: Free firewood. Cut down the tree in our yard and take it away!

• Animal ads: If the ad is for one or more animals, every animal in the ad must be free.

We reserve the right not to publish any free ad at any time, at our sole discretion, without notice.
Due to printing costs, we shorten free ads at our discretion.
Do not submit more than five free ads for any one issue. If you submit more than five WE WILL REFUSE THE ADDITIONAL ADS without informing you.
Free ads that do run, may run for up to three weeks, as long as we have space.
If you submit a free ad and it does not meet our conditions, IT WILL NOT RUN.
If you are selling an item for $100 or less and wish to add headlines, a photo, an email address or a web address you must submit it as a paid ad.

When will my ad appear?

All new ads are posted on Friday at 12 noon, as long as they are submitted by 4 pm on Wednesday. They also appear in the printed paper which is distributed on Friday, beginning around 8 am. When it reaches a particular store depends on the routes of our delivery drivers. List of locations

New ads are posted on the website Friday at noon, US Eastern time. If you submitted the ad by 4 pm on Wednesday it will appear on Friday at noon. If you missed the deadline your ad will appear the following Friday. Alternatively, if you chose a later publication date, your ad will start on the date you chose.

All ads submitted through our website must be approved by It's Classified. Normally, if there is a problem with an ad we will contact you by email. If you didn't receive an email from us there may be a problem with the email address you entered (you should also have received an automatic confirmation when you placed the ad).

If you placed an ad as a free ad but it didn't qualify as such, or you placed an excessive number of free ads in the same week, It's Classified may have disallowed your ad(s) without informing you. Please see our free ad policy.

Photos appear online only. In the print edition a camera icon: indicates that a photo of the item may be viewed on this website.

See our list of locations where It's Classified may be picked up at no charge. When it reaches a particular store depends on the routes of our delivery drivers.

Read through the list and pick the most appropriate category. Hint: If you can't find just the right category, Miscellaneous under Items for Sale can be a good choice. Categories:

Yes - Paid Ads may be placed in multiple categories. Free ads may be placed in one category only.

To place an ad in more than one category:

1. Click Post an Ad.
2. Choose a Category.
3. Choose a Subcategory.
4. Enter the Ad text.
5. Fill out the forms.
6. On the checkout page, click the Leave in cart and post more button at the bottom.
7. Repeat steps 2 - 6 for each additional category.
8. When you are done, click Submit Payment at the bottom of the checkout page.

You must have registered when you created the ad in order to edit it later.

If you registered when the ad was created:

1. Sign in.
2. Click My Ads.
3. Choose Edit at the bottom of the ad.
   This opens a window where you may change the ad text.

If you were not registered when the ad was created:

Call 802-222-5152. We can only do minor edits (fixing a bad price, changing one or two words, or similar). If the ad needs extensive edits, it's better to cancel the ad, register, Sign in, then create a new ad. Click here for instructions on how to register.

If you registered when the ad was created:

1. Sign in.
2. Click My Ads.
3. Choose Disable at the bottom of the ad.

If you did not register when the ad was created:

• To cancel by email: Send an email to mail@itsclassified.com instructing us to cancel the ad. Include the phone number on the ad, what you're selling, and the email address you entered when you created the ad. This will enable us to cancel your ad in both the web site and print editions of It's Classified.
• To cancel by phone: Call It's Classified at 802-222-5152, provide the phone number on the ad, what you're selling, and the email address you entered when you created the ad.

You must have registered when you created the ad in order to renew it yourself.

If you registered when the ad was created:

1. Sign in.
2. Click My Ads.
3. Choose Renew at the bottom of the ad.

If you did not register when the ad was created:

• To renew by email: Send an email to mail@itsclassified.com instructing us to renew the ad. Include the phone number in the ad, the email address you entered when you created the ad, the number of weeks you want it to run, the week to start. DO NOT send credit card numbers in email. Call with payment information after you send the email. If you miss a piece of information, we won't be able to renew your ad.
• To renew by phone: Call 802-222-5152, provide the phone number on the ad, what you're selling, and the email address you entered when you created the ad. This will enable us to renew your ad in both the web site and print editions of It's Classified.

You will receive a credit. We do not provide refunds.

Credit codes are sent via email. SAVE this email.

You will need the code in order to use the credit later.

When you are granted a credit, It's Classified sends you an email containing a coupon code. SAVE THAT EMAIL.

When you create your next paid ad or renew an old paid ad:

1. Sign in
2. When you are ready to check out, copy the coupon code from the email
3. Paste the code in the Coupon Code field at the bottom of the Checkout page.
